The Funnybone here has one of the better open mics I’ve seen. Always good crowds here and good comics. And with any open mic there’s always a crazy or two that makes things interesting. Taking the Greyhound in the morning (look at the success) and gearing up for the weekend in Toledo.

They’ve been predicting this for 15 years but they’re really going to start falling like dominoes. Off to Reno this week.

I love March Madness and UW winning today made it a good day. I’m working Harvey’s this week - one of my favorite clubs in the country. Comedy legend Dwight Slade (this dude should be huge) hosted the show as part of his DVD release party. It’s called Right and Raunchy and looked really good when they showed clips after the show.

Unfortunately I can’t say this is the first time I’ve done a bowling alley. It may sound bad but it’s not a bad gig - smallish crowd but a pretty good show. Went up to Seattle to catch the last half of the People’s Republic of Komedy show at Chop Suey. I love these shows ’cause you never know what bizarre acts you’ll see. Paul Merrill killed with a porn king/vampire/Col. Sanders poet character and Dartanon London brought the funk. In attendance was Craig Corvin of the fantastically underrated Dudley Manlove Quartet.
